Annual Funding and Financial Contributions
Each Party will grant funding yearly within their available annual financial resources. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will co-fund the project. Therefore, the proposing Italian Institution must significantly participate financially in terms of personnel costs. We will positively evaluate additional financial contributions from public or private, Italian or Indian institutions.

Eligibility and Submission Guidelines
Researchers must ensure their proposals align with the guidelines. Only one proposal per PI is allowed. They must choose between the “Exchange of Researchers” and “Joint Research Projects” funding schemes. Proposals must focus on priority research areas defined by the programme.
Evaluation and Selection
Projects will be evaluated by the Joint Commission. Only selected projects will receive funding. The selection criteria include the project’s potential impact on priority research areas and the financial contributions from both Indian and Italian institutions.
